Behind The Curtain...

It takes many great and talented persons to put on a show.  We've listed our cast of characters, both on and off stage, who've made this all possible.

Kimberly Roberts ~ Our Judy Garland

A farm girl from small town Indiana, Kimberly Roberts has always been told of her likeness to Judy Garland, the beloved great movie and song star. As a child, she was scared for Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, and later tuned in with her parents to the Judy Garland Shows. Today, Kimberly pays tribute to Judy through her impersonation on stage and off.  Her performances embody the celebrity of Judy Garland! She so accurately portrays the big heart and desire to be loved that engendered Judy Garland to so many... moving many who see Kimberly's performance to tears.  Come see Kimberly Roberts as Judy Garland and you too will be moved.

Sarah Strange ~ Our Director Extraordinaire!

We are so very pleased to announce Sarah's directorial debut with The Get Happy Hour With Judy!  Sarah’s love of theatre hit her at a very young age, having been brought up in a very theatrical household. She started singing after seeing the movie ‘Annie’, and her path was very clearly laid out for her. She Graduated from arts high school, Canterbury High School in Ottawa, Canada, with her diploma in Vocal Performance, and quickly followed it up by graduating with her diploma in Musical Theatre Performance from Sheridan College in Toronto, Canada. Sarah started her career aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as an onboard Lead Singer. She then spent a few years down south, singing with a jazz trio in Atlanta, Georgia, and finally trying on the Big Apple for size, workshopping new musicals, mounting various solo cabarets and continuing to hone her art. Since returning to Canada, she has had the joy of continuing aboard the cabaret train, performing with her singing partner Katie Beetham, founding 2Divine. Favourite roles include Belle Mae Steinberg Carroca in My Favourite Year, Mo in The Lady and The Ladle, and Carrie Okie in Karaoke: the Musical. Of late, she has workshopped various new Canadian musicals such as Cannibal: The Musical, written by the same folks that brought us Evil Dead: You've gotta know more about Sarah, so just click here!

Sèphera Giron was our amazing voice and tremendously talented consultant on our script!  She has always enjoyed the magic of theatre and movies. As a child, she staged operas with her toys and reluctant pets. As an adult, she's been lucky enough to act, sing, and dance in many shows as well as working as an Assistant Stage Manager. Sèphera spent her teen years at Mini Theatre and Theatre London in London, Ontario. When she finished high school, she was an executive secretary for London Sanctuary Theatre and Theatre London Theatre School until she left for York University to obtain her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts Studies.   For several years, Sèphera taught musical theatre and wrote short scripts that were performed at recitals with a dance studio. She also was Chairman of the Parent Board at Cawthra Performing Arts High school as well as Vice President of Meadowvale Music Theatre for three years. As an author, Sèphera has over twenty books published with several houses under several names.
